Turning complex data into trusted insights with data products and LLMs

Databases form the foundation of scientific information. GOSTAR–Small Molecule is the gold-standard database for structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies, enabling medicinal chemistry research and accelerating early-stage drug discovery through the development of AI/ML predictive models. At Excelra, we are continually innovating the way laboratory scientists access and utilize GOSTAR data. The database houses complex, multi-parameter measurements for over 11 million small molecules, encompassing 36 million SAR data points that must be easily searchable to deliver fast, precise, and reliable insights. Our latest innovation introduces a large language model (LLM) interface to the GOSTAR database, transforming user interaction and unlocking a more intuitive, intelligent, and insightful way to explore data.
