Candidate Profile Qualification Advanced Degree in Life Sciences (Preferred - M. Sc. / M Pharm / Ph.D., in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology OR Life Science) with MBA in International Marketing from a good B School is preferred.
Experience Possess a minimum 8-10 years Business Development experience with a proven track record of marketing in drug discovery field in US / EU Market. Must have a quantifiable and verifiable track record of exceptional revenue and profit growth serving in the CRO / pharmaceutical / life-sciences Services Company
Job Responsibilities
  • Initiate and manage sales & Business Development processes. Establish new client opportunities across Pharma & Biotech markets along with other related industries. In collaboration with the scientific delivery team, convert the client opportunities into long term strategic alliances.
  • Keep a track of customer and competitor intelligence along with the market trends within the life sciences industry to ensure Drug Repurposing services penetration in to EU / US Markets.
  • Understand Customer Strategy, Organisational Structure, Objectives and needs to gain clear understanding of their requirements both current and future.
Skills Essentials
  • Familiarity with in silico drug discovery, computational platforms, computational biology/Chemistry and bioinformatics is preferable. A good understanding of drug discovery processes and BIO-IT applications in drug discovery and development is least expected.
  • Global mentality with international experience and the demonstrated ability to work well across multiple geographies and cultures. It is preferred that the candidates have experience of working with multiple geographies and markets
